WIAW #19: A Note to You

Hi there.

Breakfast has its own special corner in my heart, so I figured that it deserved a whole What I Ate Wednesday post to itself. Plus, I’ve had some AWESOME breakfasts lately. Like…almost life changing.

But you all have a special place in my heart too. I breaks my heart when I see someone struggling through a rough season and feeling beat down. Whatever it may be that you’re carrying today, set it down, just for two seconds while you read this. Whether you’re a new reader or a faithful regular, I’m happy you’re here. This post is for you.

You have potential.

You can build, learn, test, explore, support, grow, expand. That potential is waiting inside a dam wall, just about to crumble and burst. You have aspirations, chase after them. Catch them.

You have a deep inner beauty.

I don’t have to see your face to know you’re beautiful. You are, and you express that beauty in a way that is completely unique to you. You might not even recognize it as beauty, but it’s still there. And it is brilliant.

You have a voice.

Use it. Use it passionately, but graciously. Use it forcefully, but humbly. Use it skillfully. Let it work so powerfully that you don’t have to shout to be heard. Make your words potent.

Happy Wednesday, friendly faces.

Many thanks to JennArman, and Laura for hosting the WIAW shenanigans.

So tell me…

Best breakfast eaten lately.

Something I don’t know about you.

  2. This is so sweet Evangeline; you are a beautiful gift from God precious sister just as every single person is that is on this earth. The Best breakfast I’ve eaten lately was definitely the ‘breakfast for lunch’ I ate yesterday; it was these thick, brownie flavored PB cup overnight oats.

    1. You are most welcome. I live in PA, but we’ve had some especially warm, sunny weather over the past few weeks. Also, I’ve gotten really good at running outside and snapping a quick picture (because the lighting is so much better) and then scurrying back inside 🙂

  3. Great encouragement! Thank you! Also, delicious breakfasts! I’ve been loving the oats in all forms still lately! Something you may not know? I speak 4 languages and can read Latin 😀
